ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) has urged the government to actively pursue IP gas pipeline project to ease crippling energy crisis in the country. The Committee headed by Senator Raza Rabbani compromised parliamentarians of all the political parties on Tuesday submitted recommendations to the joint sitting of Parliament.
The recommendations would be taken up from Monday for discussion and debate in the Parliament to formulate new terms of engagement with the US/Nato/Isaf. The committee also wanted the government to devise a fast track process for reimbursement of bills and payment by the US on account of Coalition Support Fund (CSF).
