National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) is organising CSR Business Excellence Award 2011-12 ceremony on Wednesday (today). President NFEH Naeem Qureshi said the awards have been instituted to recognise and promote the organisations, which made an outstanding contribution for sustainable future through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative.
The objective of award is to recognise companies and organisations and media for their valuable support for social development, he added. Around 36 companies approved for awards include: National Bank of Pakistan, The Citizens Foundation, English Biscuit Manufacturers, Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation, Total Parco Pakistan, Rural Support Programme Network, Engro Corporation, Fauji Fertiliser Co, Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim, Pak Arab Refinery, EOABI, Procter and Gamble Pakistan, Nokia Pakistan Mobile, Etihad Airways, Bank Al Falah, Rafhan Maize Products Co, Change in Education, Citi Bank, MCB Bank, Martin Dow Pharma, Agility Logistics, Linde Pakistan, Adamjee Insurance Co, ACC Polymers, PharmEvo, Greenwich University, Abbot Laboratories (Pakistan), Karachi Electric Supply Co, Pak Suzuki Motor Co,, Bin Qutab Group, Ali Akbar Group, Packages Ltd, Engro Power Gen Qadirpur.
