Amir believes his team has best bowling unit in PSL
Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir believes that Pakistan Super League's Karachi Kings is a great unit especially with the addition of Shahid Afridi in their side.
In an interview, the Pakistan’s bowling spearhead Amir shared his thoughts, saying that Karachi Kings have picked the best bowling unit in the completion.
“I think Karachi Kings have the best bowling unit in the PSL. We have the variety in both spin and fast bowling,” Amir stated.
Commenting on Imad Wasim’s role as the captain, he said, “Imad is our new and funny captain. I have played under his captaincy since Under-19. He is a good and aggressive captain. His attitude towards the game is very good.”
Giving his views about the team, the pacer said, “This time Karachi Kings have a balanced side, especially with the inclusion of new players and most importantly Afridi.”
“We will try to play better cricket then last year. We played semifinal of the PSL last year and this year we will try to play final and win it,” said the 25-year-old cricketer.
Talking about his team’s strategy, Amir said there are no such plans. "These are made on the day before the game," Amir urged the fans to come up and support his team as the final of the PSL will be played in Karachi.
Karachi Kings will start their quest for the PSL trophy against runners of PSL edition 2, Quetta Gladiators on February 23.
