Fake encounter: LHC orders SSP to produce SHO

The Lahore High Court here on Thursday directed SSP Operation to produce SHO Lower Mall Police Station Maqsood who killed a young Tahir Naveed in a fake encounter. The LHC passed these orders in a petition filed by mother of Tahir. The petitioner contended that the accused had secured bail in the case but not co-operating in investigation. She said the accused also threatening and pressurising her to withdraw the case.
The court called the accused SHO time and again but he failed to appear before the court. The court taking serious notice of ignoring the court orders directed the SSP to produce the accused SHO before the court positively on March 30.
