Sindh Govern-ment on Thursday formed a ministerial committee comprising Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed and Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to immediately discuss the demands and problems of nurses. The decision was taken during a meeting held at Chief Minister House presided by Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.
The meeting was attended by Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Secretary Health Hashim Raza Zaidi, Secretary to CM Agha Jan Akhtar and others. The meeting discussed the issues and demands of paramedical staff particularly the nurses, with perspective of their financial implications.
The Chief Minister Sindh directed Health Minister to provide health facilities to needy patients without any interruption and all departments in government hospitals should function smoothly. Shah assured that the genuine problems of nurses will be solved immediately and the recommendations of ministerial committee would be implemented.
