Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is holding a protest rally in Lahore on Saturday, as a part of its campaign against load shedding, hike in electricity tariff, soaring prices and rampant corruption. The rally, which will start from Muslim Majid Lahori at about 3.00 pm, will culminate at Bhatti Chowk.

The PML-N has asked the traders and general public to actively participate in the rally to give a strong message to those sitting in Islamabad who are showing discrimination in power supply to people of Punjab.
The PML-N central leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif will lead the rally. Hamza said that the rulers sitting in Islamabad are not sincere to the resolution of problems of the people, otherwise, four years were sufficient for resolving all major problems including load-shedding.
He said that there is no dearth of resources in the country but the rulers are showing indifferent attitude resulting they have made the life of the people miserable. The PML-N Lahore President, Mohammad Parvez Malik, told Business Recorder that time has come to give a final push to the corrupt government and the people will now fight the war for the survival of Pakistan in the streets.
According to him, the PPP-led government is adding to the problems of the people through worst load shedding, increasing power and gas tariffs and petroleum products prices. The hard earned money of the masses received by the government in the form of taxes is being used on luxurious living and merrymaking. Malik said that it is time to fight for country's survival which is facing serious issues. He said the PML-N will put Pakistan on the road to progress and prosperity.
