Naeem Malik takes charge as Acting GM Railways

Muhammad Naeem Malik has taken charge as Acting General Manager (Operations) of Pakistan Railways, according to a notification issued on Monday. He is presently serving as GM Maintenance and Services (M&S) but will look after the Railways operations till further orders.
Malik has been serving in the Railways for the past 38 years. He has served as AGM (mechanical), Chief Mechanical Loco, and DS Quetta and on other senior slots. It may be mentioned that the post of GM (Operations) was lying vacant after the recent arrest of Saeed Akhtar.
