A 40-year-old man was shot dead near Nazimabad petrol pump here on Monday. According to police, the victim namely Asghar Hassan Jafferi son of Ahmad Hassan Jafferi, a resident of Surjani Sector 4-A, was assaulted when he was on the way to somewhere in his car (AFF-510) at Nazimabad No 6. Resultantly, he received three bullet wounds and died on spot.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. Police said the victim was serving as manager in Diamond gasoline station. No case was registered till filing of this report.
