The fire that broke out in a factory burnt millions of rupees electrical appliances into ashes in the limits of New Karachi Industrial Area police station on Tuesday. According to the officials of fire department, two fire tenders were dispatched on the fire information that was received at around 1:10pm.
They said the fire had completely engulfed one portion of a factory namely Osaka Energy Savers located at plot DP-10 in sector 12-B before the fire tenders reached the scene. Later, fire tenders of five fire stations rushed to the place and tried to extinguish the fire. They said the fire was brought under control within 5 hours. Police said although the incident was said to be happened, due to short circuit, they are investigating the case from every angle. Nobody was reported hurt in this incident, police said.
