Sindh Government with the approval of competent authority has constituted Chief Minister's Special Vigilance Teams at divisional level across the province for ensuring fair and transparent conduct of Annual Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation) Examinations commencing from April 5, 2012.
Khaqan Murtaza, Secretary Privatisation/Programme Director P&.D Division will be Co-Chairman of Karachi Division's vigilance team while Abdul Wahab Soomro, Additional Commissioner-I, Karachi, Deputy Commissioners of Karachi (South/East/West /Central/Malir) and Salim Rajput, ADC-1, District East will be members of the team. Waheed Ahmed Shaikh, Director General Culture Sindh, will be the chairman of vigilance team of Hyderabad Division, while Deputy Commissioners (Hyderabad, Matiari, Badin, Tandoallahyar, Tando Mohammad Khan, Thatta, Jamshoro) and Nisar Ahmed Memon, Director E&I Hyderabad, BoR will be members of the team.
Dr Azhar Ahmed, Registrar Co-operative Societies will be the chairman of vigilance team of Mirpurkhas Division while Deputy Commissioners (Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Sanghar, Tharparkar) and Afzal Ahmed, ADC-I, Hyderabad will be the members of the team. Nazar Muhammad Bozdar, Director SPPRA will be the chairman of vigilance team of Sukkur Division while Deputy Commissioners (Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur Mir's, Benazirabad, Naushehroferoze) and Captain Anwar Ahmed, ADC-I, Khairpur Mir's will be the members of the team.
Fayaz Ahmed Jatoi, Additional Commissioner-I, Larkana will be the chairman of Larkana Division, while Deputy Commissioners (Larkana, Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashomore-Kandhkot), Khizar Afzaal, Assistant Commissioner Kandhkot, District Kashmore will be members of the team.
Bilal Ahmed Memon, Additional Secretary (Implementation) Chief Minister's Secretariat will be the focal person on behalf of Chief Minister's Secretariat. An official of Chief Minister House said that the vigilance teams would ensure fair and transparent conduct of examinations and deter malpractice/unfair means by paying surprise visits to the examination centres.
