ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast reached about 1.179 million tonnes by Feb. 4 since the start of the season on Oct. 1, exporters estimated on Monday, up from 1.175 million tonnes for the same period last year.
Exporters estimated that around 28,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to the port of Abidjan and another 25,000 tonnes to San Pedro for a total of 53,000 tonnes delivered between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4. That compares with 43,000 tonnes during the same period last season.
