I want to draw your attention towards a serious issue regarding water supply in my area. It is day by day becoming more serious as no arrangements have been made to overcome this problem. Especially in summer, it is very hard as no water is supplied to our area, and the mafia involved in stealing the water is also at large.
They are selling water at their own prices and stealing water from our water lines. As a result, we are left without water. In many parts of Karachi, drinking water is being wasted due to the leakages in the water supply lines. When a complaint is made to the concerned authorities, they pay no heed towards this issue. It is, therefore, requested that the concerned authorities may please start an awareness campaign so that drinking water could be saved from being wasted and supplied to those areas where it is in short supply, especially during summer.
