Pictures of Wasim Akram’s wife Shaniera reveal she is ‘Punjabi’ at heart

Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram's wife Shaniera might have been Australian by birth but her latest social media pictures are revealing the true ‘Punjabi’ in her.

For the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL), Wasim left his former franchise ‘Islamabad United’ and joined the ‘Multan Sultans’ as his new team. The 51-year-old cricketer went to the city to attend the ‘Multan Sultans’ exhibition match.

Wasim was accompanied by his wife Shaniera, who happened to fall in love with the city as well as Punjab. Shaniera shared the pictures through her journey in Multan and these posts are enough to tell the tale of Mrs. Akram’s love story with the country and especially Punjab.

From squeezing fresh orange juice in ‘Punjabi style’ to ‘exploring sohna Punjab’, Shaniera did it all. The CEO of the ‘Akram Foundation’ also revealed that she will surely be back to the ‘City of Saints’ soon.

Shaniera is 17 years younger than Wasim. The couple tied the knot in 2013 and have a daughter Aiyla together.
