DCO Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal on Tuesday has taken notice of not arresting the violators of one dish law and timings at marriage functions, and issued order tothe concerned officials to ensure arrests of the violators besides registering a case against them.
According to an official, the DCO Lahore observed that the enforcement staff lodge FIR against the violators, but they are not arrested. He directed the concerned officials to ensure arrests of violators in future to make the campaign effective and successful. The City District Government Lahore has registered 19 cases against violators of one-dish law and timings and arrested on person during last three days. The DCO Lahore said that the registration of 19 FIR is insufficient and directed to ensure arrest of culprits in future.
