Directives issued to drain out rain water

District Coordina-tion Officer (DCO) Lahore Noor-Ul-Amin Mengal on Wednesday issued directions to drain out rain water on roads and other places in the city immediately. The DCO Lahore said that there is likelihood of emergence of dengue vector even from doormat sites. He directed all administrators, TMOs and DDOs (Health) to ensure drainage of rainy water in their respective areas and all areas be cleared from stagnant water.
He further directed to intensify the surveillance for dengue vector and all areas, including construction sites, graveyards, tyre shops, junkyards and parks, must be visited for vector surveillance.
