Punjab government directed to explain causes of deaths

An enquiry commission directed the Punjab government to explain the causes of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) 100 patients' deaths, while Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has already suggested about purchase of the medicines. Earlier, counsel of PMA contended before the commission that such incident might not appear if government acted upon the suggestions of the PMA.
He said Punjab government did not act upon the suggestions and unfortunate incident of 100 PIC patients death happened. The court after hearing the PMA counsel directed the Punjab government to act on the suggestions of the PMA and rose for the day.
