Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has achieved another milestone by clinching the prestigious Management Association of Pakistan's 28th Corporate Excellence Award in the Oil and Gas and Utilities sector for the fourth consecutive year. "This award affirms the company's adherence to best corporate governance practices", a press release issued here on Wednesday said.
Managing Director and CEO of PPL Asim Murtaza Khan received the award from Federal Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, who was the chief guest on the occasion. The event, held at Karachi, drew business community representatives. Now in their 28th year, the Corporate Excellence Awards were instituted by MAP in 1982 to recognize through a stringent evaluation process by an independent evaluation committee.-PR
