District Food Controller Mirpurkhas, Sarang Ram said his Department has launched the wheat procurement campaign in districts Mirpurkhas and Umerkot. He further said 44 wheat procurement centres have been set up in the above two districts. Talking to newsmen on Wednesday, he further said target fixed for wheat procurement in the two districts was 800,000 wheat bags which would be procured at Rs 1050 per 40 kilogrammes from the growers.
