Crime Branch-I of Sindh police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a notorious Lyari gangster during raid at Bulbul Hazaar Dastan Building located in old City area. According to SSP Crime Branch Farooq Awan, the team on a tip-off conducted raid at the said building situated in the precincts of Nippier police station and arrested a gangster Mullah Nawaz of Baba Ladla Group.
He said the accused persons had been put in the most wanted list and the Sindh Government has also announced Rs 0.5 million bounty on his arrest.
He said the detained person was nominated in 50 cases including murder, extortions, police encounter, drug peddling and etc. Moreover, he said the accused person during initial course of investigation confessed to have involved in another notorious Lyari gangster namely Majeed Speed few years ago. Further investigation was underway.
