Cocoa butter ratios were little changed last week with weak demand expected to cap gains in the near-term, while powder prices slipped as the positive Easter-sentiment ebbed away, dealers said on Friday. Cocoa butter, a key ingredient for making chocolate, was offered at ratios of 1.0 to 1.05 times London futures, steady from the previous week.
"In general it's been a bit quiet," said a Malaysia-based dealer. "Everyone is waiting to see where prices are going at the terminal market ... the general consensus is that demand has slowed down a bit."
