MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has completed three different projects with Rs 592 million to resolve the issues of distribution system across the region.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, 66kV Yazman grid station has been upgraded to 132-kV in order to resolve the issues of over-loading and low voltage.
The project would facilitate consumers of Bahawalpur and Yazman city.
Another project has been completed at Kot Addu where 66-kV Kot Sultan and Karor Laal Eison has been improved to 132-kV to resolve fault of transmission lines.
MEPCO also laid 23-kilometre rail conductors at 500-kV Yousaf wala, Sahiwal old and Pakpattan transmission lines to ensure electricity supply with proper voltage.
