The Lahore High Court here on Monday issued notices to Secretary Health Punjab and District Co-ordination Officer and called for report about steps taken to control the dengue. Petitioner Azhar submitted that the Punjab government did not to take precautionary steps against dengue. He submitted that last year due to poor arrangements of the government, many deaths took place due to dengue.
He informed that this year on February 22 it was revealed that the dengue had started affecting people in Lahore but the government remained idle. He submitted due to insufficient arrangements of the government against dengue, there are chances of many deaths this year only because of dengue.
