The ban on pillion riding lifted from Thursday's midnight. A statement here on Thursday said the directive to this effect had been issued by the Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, to Additional Chief Secretary (Home). He said that the decision in this regard has been taken keeping in view the inconvenience of the people.
The statement further said that the minister has denied that hotels have been asked to close by midnight and said that there was no truth in such reports.
