Mental Health Federation of Pakistan (MHFP) will organise a free psychiatry camp for poor patients suffering from mental illnesses on Wednesday, April 25 at 6-B-I, H-Block, Gulberg-II near Sherpao Bridge Lahore between 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. Mental Health Federation of Pakistan will provide free consultation and free medicines to the deserving patients.
Professor Emeritus K E Medical University Dr Khalida Tareen, Dr Iftikhar, Dr Masood and other experts will also participate in the camp. Mental Health Federation of Pakistan president Professor I.A.K.Tareen said that depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses are increasing in the general population and the treatment facilities remained very inadequate. He said poverty and increasing cost of living were making it difficult for people to seek treatment.
