The Secretary to Government of Sindh Investment Ms Naheed Shah Durrani said that Sindh has great potential for investment and her department has launched a campaign for awareness and encouragement of progressive investors/ entrepreneurs who intend to introduce value addition through mechanisation.
In her press statement available to this office today, Ms Naheed Shah Durrani informed that after three successful Awareness Seminars, the Sindh Enterprises' Development Fund (SEDF) is organising 4th Awareness Seminar at Quaid-e-Awam Engineering University Auditorium Nawabshah on April 26, 2012. She said that this Seminar would be presided over by the Chairman SEDF Mohammad Zubair Motiwalla.
She herself and Deputy Commissioners of Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Nausheroferoze and progressing farmers would also attend the Seminar. She said that media can play important role in convincing and creating awareness about investment and utilisation of indigenous resources. She said that the aim of the series of these seminars is to familiarise the participants about objectives of Sindh Enterprises Development Fund to progressive investors, entrepreneurs.
