Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 8.67 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,894.01 to 2,885.34 points. The overall turnover amounted to 749,422 shares as compared to previous turnover of 567,300 shares.
Total 135 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (102) closed in negative territory, 33 landed in plus column and no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of D G Khan Cement was 550,386 shares. The volume of Lafarge Pakistan Cement was 109,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement Company Limited was 35,000 shares.
