Government on Thursday deported the family of Osama bin Laden to Saudi Arabia in a special Saudi plane. Spokesman of Interior Ministry said that the Ministry on Thursday passed orders for the deportation of 14 members of OBL family in pursuance of the court's orders. The family was kept safe and sound in a guesthouse declaring it as a Sub-Jail. They have been deported to the country of their choice, Saudi Arabia.
The family of Osama was in the custody of law enforcement agencies since May last year after US commandos killed OBL in Abbottabad. Last month a local court sentenced Osama's widows 45 days in prison for illegally staying in the country. The family spent 45 days imprisonment in a sub jail located in sector G-6 of the federal capital.
The three widows of OBL namely Khaira Hussain alias Ume Hamza, Slham Sharif alias Ume Khalid, Amal Ahmed and two daughters, Mariam and Summaya. Amal Ahmed belongs to Yemen, while Khaira Hussain and Slham are from Saudi Arabia. Sources said that three widows and children of Osama would initially go to Saudi Arabia. They said bin Laden's youngest wife, Amal, who is from Yemeni, may be sent to Yemen afterwards with her five children.
