Video: Sridevi gives daughter Janhvi a ‘shut up call’ in public

It’s hard to believe that Bollywood actress Sridevi’s eldest daughter Janhvi Kapoor is old enough that she’s about to debut in the Indian movie industry. However, it seems like she is still a little girl to her mother.

Recently, the 20-year-old aspiring actress accompanied her mother Sridevi to ‘Lakme Fashion show’ held in Mumbai. While the shutterbugs gathered to take the pictures of the mother-daughter pair, some requested Janhvi for some solo photos but Sridevi refused.

However, when Janhvi herself requested giving solo shots to the paparazzi, Sirdevi got angry and gave a shut up call to her daughter in front of all the paparazzi. Janhvi went ahead with her mother apologizing to the media present there.

“Janhvi pleaded for a split second with her mother but Sridevi gave her a stern look. The veteran actress took Janhavi’s mobile phone away and asked her to walk off quietly. Janhvi sheepishly apologized through gestures to her friends in the media and left,” an eyewitness told Deccan Chronicle.

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter will star in Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’ opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar this year.
