Protest of Pakistan People's Party entered the third day on Saturday. They organised three protest rallies and burnt the effigy of Chief Justice of Pakistan besides using filthy language about the judiciary. PPP (Human Rights wing) staged a demonstration at double Phatak lead by Saleem-ur-Rehman Mayo. About 100 activists took part in the demonstration.
Another two demonstrations were staged by PPP activists in Multan to protest against the judgement of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and they burnt the effigy of Chief Justice of Pakistan to express their anger on the verdict. The major protest demonstration was staged at Chowk Ghanta Ghar where more than 300 activists of PPP joined it. Malik Aamer Dogar MPA, Khurshid Ahmed Khan, Malik Liaquat Ali Dogar Ex-MNA, Khalid Hanif Lodhi, M.Saleem Raja, and Tariq Raza Khan led the demo. Another demo was staged at Chowk Pak-gate which was attended by about 100 workers. Tehrik-i-Insaf Multan expressed solidarity with the Judiciary and staged a demonstration against Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza and burnt his portraits in Muzaffarabad (Multan) on Friday.
