An inspection team of University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Saturday visited Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to inspect the teaching facilities and other necessary infrastructure required for the affiliation of 'Ameer-ud-Din Medical College' with the UHS.
Led by Professor Dr Saeed Ahmad, Principal Sheikh Zayed Medical Hospital Rahim Yar Khan visited various departments of both the organisations and got detailed information about faculty, teaching facilities, diagnostic structure, clinical facilities and laboratory.
The inspection team expressed satisfaction and the standard of the available facilities. Professor Dr Saeed Ahmad said that Ameer-ud-Din Medical College will be the fifth medical college in the city and it will be comprised of 100 seats. Briefing the delegation, Dr Tariq said that all necessary arrangements have been finalised for admission at Ameer-ud-Din Medical College. He said that Pakistan Medical and Dental Council already accorded approval to this college.
