Traders to stage sit-in against Evacuee Board

Traders on Monday announced to hold protest sit-in on Tuesday against the Evacuee Board on M.A. Jinnah Road to denounce selling of market buildings in the city. Talking to Business Recorder, Chairman AKTI, Muhammad Atiq Mir said traders of Arambagh Furniture Market Association would take to the streets on Tuesday to denounce the selling of shops at the same market. He said the protest would be against the evacuee board which had sold a portion of market in Panjrapur Compound.
"The board has sold passage way of the compound," he said, adding that the traders of the market would stage a sit-in protest to condemn the action.
