Training workshops for lady health workers regarding Tuberculosis (TB) awareness and control under ACSM (Advocacy, Communication & Social Mobilisation) Project have been organised in different districts of the region. This was stated by the Social Organiser Wazir Nouman Ali while talking to APP on Monday. He said the lady health workers of all the districts participated in the workshops.
He said TB was a dangerous diseases, but curable disease, and there was a need to spread awareness among masses about the disease. Ali further said the aim of the organisation was to make Gilgit-Baltistan a TB free region, and in this regard, the role of the lady health workers was crucial.
