Federal Minister for Regulation and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Saturday urged upon the opposition to concentrate on the betterment of the masses and overall development of the country and refrain from the politics of opposition for the sake of opposition.
Talking to media at airport she said that Pakistan is playing a front line role in war against terrorism and had rendered great sacrifices but unfortunately the world had not recognised and honour the sacrifices of Pakistan and President Asif Ali Zardari had pleaded and highlighted the same viewpoint in Chicago conference.
The international community should recognised the sacrifices of Pakistan rendered in the war of terrorism, she said. Dr Firdous said that PPP led government was making adequate efforts for overcoming the gas and energy crisis adding that PPP government is not responsible for the current gas and energy crisis it was due to the poor polices of the previous regimes.
