District Co-ordination Officer Lahore, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, visited Shahra-e-Aiwan-e-Tijarat here on Sunday and Allama Iqbal road. DCO Lahore took notice of slow pace of construction work at Allama Iqbal road and expressed displeasure on concerned officers and directed them to expedite the construction work on Allama Iqbal road and to put in extra effort by using more labourers.
DCO Lahore directed concerned officers to use all available resources for the completion of Allama Iqbal road as early as possible. He said that no further delay would be tolerated for the completion of Allama Iqbal road and concerned departments should work with more dedication and mutual co-ordination and all concerned departments should also make sure the quality of material.
DCO Lahore visited Shahra-e-Aiwan-e-Tijarat and inspected the construction work there. He also inspected carpeting of road. CDGL officers were also with him on these visits.
