Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, alleging Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for tax evasion during last 35 years, on Monday said that 'change' cannot be brought through 'hollow' slogans.
"Imran Khan did not pay a single penny in tax for the last 35 years. How he can blame others for not paying taxes?" Nisar said in a statement issued here from the Chamber of Leader of the Opposition, while reacting to the PTI's chief allegations against PML-N leadership.
Chaudhry Nisar, who is also PML-N central leader, also claimed that PML-N president Nawaz Sharif was even bearing Javed Hashmi's family expenditures at the time when he was PML-N vice president. "Change cannot be brought through hollow slogans and a person like Imran Khan...a new entrant in the political arena. "Insaf League" should tell truth to the nation instead of deceiving people by levelling baseless allegations against others," he maintained.
Terming PTI as a group of 'fugitive', Nisar said that the party (PTI) could not provide leadership capable enough to steer the country out of the prevailing crises. Reacting to the other day public rally of PTI at Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi, Chaudhry Nisar said that the PTI leadership did not bother to speak about the expected move of resumption of Nato supply, rampant unemployment, price hike and the unprecedented loadshedding, but instead opted to level allegations against PML-N leadership.
