Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central information secretary Shafqat Mahmood on Thursday strongly condemned the barbaric attack on PTI Youth Wing's Office at Jhang road, Lakar Mandi in Faisalabad. He claimed that protest organised and sponsored by PML-N was purposely directed to launch a violent attack on the office of the youth wing of the Party.
He also alleged that the PML-N resorted to blatant use of violence in face of PTI's unprecedented rise in popularity. He termed it an orchestrated incident of vandalism by the ruling party of Punjab. According to him, PTI Youth Wing District and City Faisalabad Presidents Zeeshan Babar and Atif Chaudhry along with other workers of the Party were subjected to torture by the criminal elements of the PML-N.
The mob decimated PTI Youth Wing's office and law enforcement agencies failed to take prompt action. This was not the first time that the PML-N resorted to violence against the PTI; another such incident occurred earlier this month in Vehari, where a charged mob protesting against load shedding was directed to attack PTI Youth Wing's office.
