The third season of Pakistan’s biggest and most followed sports event ‘Pakistan Super League’ is all set to return with a bang, with big stars associated with the franchises and one such addition is Mahira Khan, who has declared her favorite team for this edition by joining ‘Peshawar Zalmi’ as the official ambassador.

Last year happened to be the best one for the Javed Afridi’s team ‘Peshawar Zalmi’ but this year the defending champions are back with a new lucky charm - actress Mahira, who is thrilled for representing the Pakhtoon’s team.

The ‘Raees’ actress is also joined in by Pakistan’s controversial TV host/actor Hamza Ali Abbasi in support of the ‘Zalmis’. The ‘Waar’ actor shared his exhilaration through sharing a selfie with the fellow team members including Mahira.

Like last year, the team will have Darren Sammy as their captain and the matches are scheduled to start from February 22 and end on March, 25. The matches are expected to be played on the Sharjah and Dubai grounds, however, the semis and final matches are scheduled to be played in Lahore and Karachi respectively.

Last year 'Zalmis' was represented by another Pakistani actress Humaima Malick but Mahira has replaced her after becoming their official ambassador of 2018.
