Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The activities report of Karachi Port has not been received on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
Port Qasim maintained port's activities of total cargo volume of 79,559 tonnes including 54,528 tonnes of import; 25,031 tonnes of export cargo and the total number of 3,713 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) are handled during the last 24 hours of business activity on Saturday.
The total import cargo volume of 54,528 tonnes comprised of 21,221 tonnes of diesel oil and 33,307 tonnes of containerised cargo are handled during the business activity hours of the port on Saturday. The total export cargo volume of 25,031 tonnes comprised of 1,724 tonnes of cement and 23,307 tonnes of containerised cargo are handled during the reported period of activities.
There are only two cargo vessels namely M T SC Dalian and M T BW Orinoco sailed out to the sea on Saturday while another cargo vessel namely M V Tampa Bay is expected to sail out to the sea during business activity hours on the same day. A total number of eight cargo vessels namely M V Safmarine Ngami, M V SingaporeTrader, M V Tampa Bay, M V Leaopard-B, M V BBC Quebec, M T BW Orinoco and M T Al-Soor-II are currently occupying the berths to load/offload containerised cargo, palm oil, project cargo, cement cargo and diesel oil respectively during the last 24 hours of business activities at the port on Saturday.
There are total two vessels namely M T Akaki and M T Galaxy carrying furnace oil and palm oil respectively are currently to line up at the outer anchorage during the business activity hours on Saturday. There is only one vessel namely M T Galaxy carrying palm oil is expected to arrive at Liquid Containers Terminal on Saturday.
