TDAP, Pakistan Customs, PTA: meeting held to resolve issues faced by leather exporters
The officials of TDAP, Pakistan Customs and representatives of PTA held a meeting on Friday for resolving the issues of the leather exporters, especially to stop the smuggling and misdeclaration in export of wet blue leather. Officials of Customs briefed about the existing system of export and invited exporters to visit Customs House to further streamline the procedure.
Tariq Puri, Chief Executive TDAP stressed upon Customs officials that there is a need to provide maximum facilitation to our business community, especially the exporters who are playing a pivotal role. In order to stop the misdeclaration in the exports of wet blue leather, a committee is to be formed and the PTA is to suggest the names of its representatives.
