England's Football Association are facing action from UEFA after some fans attempted to invade the pitch after the side's victory over Sweden, European football's governing body said in a statement on Sunday.
UEFA said on its website that its disciplinary committee would hear the case on Wednesday regarding "the inappropriate behaviour of their (England's) supporters - attempted invasion of the field of play".
England won Friday's Group D qualifying match in the Ukrainian capital Kiev 3-2. Roy Hodgson's side came back from 2-1 down after opening the scoring, with second-half goals from Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck.
