Chairman Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) Board of Directors (BoDs) Nadeem Aftab Sindhu has underlined the importance of sports and said that company was making best efforts to promote healthy sports activities in this region. He was addressing a function hosted in honour of Gold medallist of 55th National Badminton Championship.
He said that lack of patronage of healthy sports activities, shortage of play grounds and interest of youth towards internet has discouraged healthy sports activities. He said that proper steps should be taken to reverse this situation. Chief Executive Officer Fesco; Engineer Iftikhar Ahmed said that sports provide best opportunity to develop healthy brain and bran. He congratulated the Fesco badminton players for winning distinction and hoped that it would continue to achieve new successes in this field and they would also bring neutral to this company and country.
He also appreciated the services of coach and manager of the badminton team and said that their services must be acknowledged. He said that he is also best player of badminton and he would try his best to facilitate the badminton player. President Fesco Sports Association Mian Shahzad Raza informed about the problem confronted by association. Nadeem Aftab Sindhu assured resolve the problem being confronted by this association so that they could earn good name for Fesco and Pakistan.
