The Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Muhammad Azam Khan here on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of Rs 90.39 million grand building for rest house of the Supreme Court AJK. The project, being constructed near the scenic Bhutto Park, located on the right bank of Mangla Dam reservoir in Mirpur, will be completed in two-year.
It will provide boarding and lodging facilities to the judges and officials of the apex court of AJK during the course of their official visits and temporary stays in Mirpur in connection with their professional duties. Engineer Zulfiqar Hussain Shah, Chief Engineer of PWD buildings AJK, the executing agency and its other officials including SE Zia ul Islam and Engineer Inam ul Haq, on this occasion, apprised on the salient features of the project.
