Pak Navy always comes up to nation's expectations in defending country: COAS

(Karachi) Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan Navy has always come up to the expectations of the nation in defending the maritime frontiers of motherland.
He said this during his visit to Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore on Monday, media reported. While addressing participants of 49th Naval Staff Course and faculty members, Bajwa said that Pakistan Navy is a formidable force and the entire nation is proud of its valor and sacrifices.

He added the war college is a prestigious institution where officers are trained for key positions and appointments. The COAS appreciated the valour and sacrifices of the force for defending the country.
During address, COAS also focused on geostrategic environment, security challenges & opportunities for Pakistan.

Earlier upon arrival, he was received by Rear Admiral Muhammad Zubair Shafique, Commandant Pakistan Navy War College & Lt Gen Majid Ehsan Commander Lahore Corps. 3/3
Earlier, on arrival at Navy War College General Bajwa was received by Rear Admiral Muhammad Zubair Shafique. The army chief also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.
