Allama Jauhari dies

LETTER: Religious scholar Talib Jauhari died yesterday. According to media reports, the widely respected religious scholar and orator Allama Talib Jauhari had been suffering from some ailments for quite some time. No doubt, he was a scholar of high distinction. He had studied in Najaf, Iraq, for one decade.

Allama Jauhari was extremely good at reasoning conducted or assessed according to logic. His speeches were strongly characterised by his deep understanding of Fiqh and Islamic Jurisprudence. He will also be remembered for his skill or eloquence in public speaking. He had a wonderful style, with a splendid command over Urdu and Arabic. May Almighty God shower His blessings on the departed soul and give fortitude to his family to bear this irreparable loss. Aameen.
