LAHORE: Veteran writer and researcher Dr Zafar Hassan died of coronavirus yesterday. He was 83. He was battling against coronavirus. He was admitted in the private hospital of Lahore.
He left behind wife, two daughters and one son.
Dr Hassan had remained associated with Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) and was elected many times as its chairman. He also remained associated with Business Recorder with his weekly column on cotton production and trade for at least 25 years. Dr Hassan had also written extensively for the defunct Morning News.
Dr Hassan was a PhD and the author of different books.
May Almighty God shower His blessings on him and give his family fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Aameen.
