KARACHI: The members of Sindh Assembly belong to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Thursday staged a sit-in outside the provincial assembly building against what party said 'neglecting Karachi & Hyderabad' in the Sindh budget for FY 2020-21.
Protesting MQM-P legislators said Sindh government ignored two major urban centres i.e. Karachi and Hyderabad in the budget 2020-21. They said the two largest cities of Sindh are deprived of basic necessities of life and demanded that step-motherly treatment with the two cities should be stopped forthwith.
Party's legislators said Karachi filled the exchequer of the province and in return Sindh govt left the people of city helpless to die from Covid-19.
