It gives me great pleasure and pride that the WeBOC, a home grown system of FBR, is being launched all over the country for the facilitation of trade in Pakistan. WeBOC system provides real time integration of agents, brokers, terminal operator, cargo handlers and customs officials for the clearance of trade consignments and collection of duties/allied taxes.
WeBOC replaces PaCCS and can be easily modified to shape up and provide more effective customs control and facilitation. Federal Board of Revenue is focusing on becoming an efficient and automated government organisation of Pakistan at par with the leading Customs organisations of the world. I congratulate the team which worked day and night for months to make this proud achievement possible and hope that it will move on for further landmarks.
