KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive on Wednesday foiled an attempt to smuggle contraband injections 'Boston' to Karachi from Faisalabad.
According to details, credible information was received by the customs officer Irfan-ur-Rehman Khan that some unscrupulous elements were planning to smuggle contraband injections 'Boston' to Karachi from Faisalabad.
Reacting on this information, a team of customs officials mounted stiff vigilance and intercepted a vehicle near airport that led the recovery of 1940 Boston injections worth Rs. 5.82 million. Consequent upon recovery, two persons were taken into custody and case is being registered against them. Further investigation is in progress.
