ISLAMABAD: The number of reported confirmed coronavirus cases registered a slight increase in the capital city on Friday. According to official data, with the arrival of 98 cases, the tally of confirmed cases has reached 13,829.

They said after the death of four more people on Friday, the total number of fatalities was now 146. The officials said at present active cases in various hospitals and homes were 3,589 after recovery of 10,240 patients.

As per breakup of 98 cases, the officials said 54 were men and 44 women. Out of 98 cases, nine were reported from Sohan Garden, eight Jinnah Gardan, seven Ziraj Housing, seven Sector 1-8, six Sector G-8, five PWD, five Sector G-6, five Bhara Kahu, three Pakistan Town, three Sector G-9, three Sector F-10, two Shehzad Town, two NPF, two Sector G-7, two Sector G-15, two Sector G-13, two Sector G-11, two Sector F-5, two Sector F-17, two DHA, two Bani Gala, and one each from Mohara, Naval Anchorage, Nilor, Thanda Pani, Lathrar, Khanna, Margalla Town, Korang Town, Rawat, Ghokina, Humak, Ghulshen-i-Jinnah, Sector G-5, G-10, G-11, G-8, and Sector I-9.

The data says that the new cases reported on July 9 were 81, on July 8 , 93, July 7, 63, July 6, 85, on July 5, 117, on July 4, 97, on July 3, 113, on July 2 ,170, on July 1, 137, on June 30, 132, on June 29, 248, on June 28, 189, on June 27, 255, on June 26, 271, on June 25, 227, on June 24, 264, on June 23, 307, June 22, 250, on June 21, 383, on June 20, 338, on June 19, 304, on June 18, 395, on June 17, 385, and on June 16, 288.

Similarly, on June 15, 635, on June 14, 771, on June 13, 464, on June 12, 463 , on June 11, 273, on June 10, 178, on June 9, 456, on June 8, 350, on June 7, 656, on June 6, 377, on June 5, 402, on June 4, 356, and on June 3, 292.
