ARTICLE: "The Khan has given The Buzz only one term of reference."

"Only one?! Besides do you mean term of reference or standard operating procedure?"

"You are right, in this post-Covid19 world a TOR is the same as SOP because now a TOR is applicable on the general public while before it was limited to officially set up committees..."

"So what is The Buzz's TOR? To take notice of all that is not well in Punjab and issue a directive to make it well or to take exception to his directives not being followed and issue a directive to follow them."

"Don't be facetious, besides The Khan also does that - he takes notice, issues directives, and that's when the dratted mafia enters the equation..."

"Indeed, but there are two actions that I find rather inane - one is for a chief executive to take notice and issue directives that are un-implementable and the other is to request for a report within less than say a week..."

"Yes, but the report is necessary to then issue directives!"

"Don't be facetious."

"OK, anyway I would urge The Khan to stop..."

"Ain't happening, unless you employ some psychology..."

"Where does psychology come in?"

"Well two things work with The Khan, first to point out that he seems to be carrying on the tradition of Nawaz Sharif and he will stop..."

"Nawaz Sharif also used to take notice of all that was not well in Sharif-land and issue directives and cut inaugural ribbons..."

"And the lesson learned: Sharif land has shrunk to Raiwind estate!"

"Hmmmm, anyway taking notice and cutting ribbons maybe an activity that is thrust upon the chief executive......the other psychological approach that has been successful in convincing Prime Minister Khan is to give an example from cricket..."

"That's a tough one, in cricket the umpire's word is the last word and if you challenge it then you can replay the relevant..."

"Yes, but there is a limit to how many time you can challenge the umpire's word, and I reckon that is known to our status quo parties..."

"Don't be facetious; anyway, the one TOR of The Buzz is NWP - not a word in public - the day he opens his mouth will be his last day in his current position."

"I would take exception to that if I was The Buzz - this TOR doesn't apply to anyone else - not the KPK Chief Minister, not members of his federal cabinet, not..."

"You are not him."

"That's true."
